Does your heart stir you?
Exodus 35:20-21 "Then all the congregation of the people of Israel departed from the presence of Moses. And they came, everyone whose heart stirred him, and everyone whose spirit moved him, and brought the LORD’s contribution to be used for the tent of meeting, and for all its service."God has been faithful to this ministry for over 35 years, and now, more than ever, we pray that He will continue to uphold RUF in the palm of His hand. Like the children of Israel, we all may feel, at times, like we are wandering in the wilderness, unsure of where our God is leading us. In the verses above, Moses calls the people to consider what they can give to the building of God's temple. He does not scold them or twist their arms to get them to give to God's work. Rather, he asks them to go home and consider what the Lord "stirs" in their hearts to give. We are asking that you might pray and consider if and what the Lord would have you give to RUF. If you have given to RUF, you have no doubt heard this before, but it should be repeated: This ministry simply would not be here if it were not for your support! So, we thank God for you, especially when we see Him directly using the gifts that you give to get us through each work day.
